Tyson Tossing Hat in Meal Kit Delivery Market
FAYETTEVILLE, AR – As home meal delivery kits grow in popularity, Tyson has teamed with the maker of the Instant Pot to create the brand-new Instant Pot branded kits. Designed to cook in 20 minutes, the fully prepped kits have everything needed for a meal, including chicken, rice and sauces. Meal kit sales totaled an estimated $3.1 billion in 2018. More than half of Americans say their biggest obstacle to deciding to eat at home is being strapped for time. The kits roll-out in select locations this week, and nationally this spring. These kits are focused on chicken, but future kits could include both beef and pork.
