USDA released their latest crop production forecast on Tuesday. Their November report projected year-over-year increases for corn, soybeans, and cotton in the United States based on conditions as of November 1, 2021.
U.S. farmers are expected to produce larger corn, soybean and cotton crops compared to last year according to the latest Crop Production forecast from USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.
USDA released their latest Crop Production Report for May, on Wednesday, and government economists expect a 10 percent year over year increase in winter wheat production this season.
All cotton production is forecast at 15.9 million bales, down 7 percent from the previous forecast and down 20 percent from 2019.
United States upland cotton production is expected to total 16.5 million bales, down 14 percent from last year according to the latest USDA Crop Production Report released on Friday.
