Allendale’s Annual Acreage Estimates Ahead of USDA Report

CHICAGO, IL – Traders, and analysts are preparing for two reports from USDA on Wednesday. On the topic of planted acreage intentions in 2021, Allendale, a Chicago area agricultural commodity analysis and brokerage firm have acreage estimates based upon numbers from their annual nationwide survey (conducted March 1 – 12).
Corn: 92.8 million acres (+2.0 million from 2020)
Soybeans: 90.3 million acres (+7.3 million from 2020)
Wheat: 46.4 million acres (+2.1 million from 2020)
Cotton: no estimate
