Ag CEO Council Meets With Biden’s Trade Nominee
WASHINGTON, DC – Leaders of major agricultural and commodity groups recently met with the Biden Administration’s nominee for trade ambassador, Katherine Tai.
Tai, offered her views on the essential role of trade in the “Build Back Better” agenda, and the opportunity to leverage trade tools to create more prosperity across all segments of the economy.
While meeting with the members of the Ag CEO Council that represents the CEO’s of the farm and commodity organizations and key supplier industries that make up a large segment of U.S. agriculture, they talked about how to pursue a smart, sustainable trade agenda that supports farmers and the agriculture industry.
Tai also reiterated her commitment to ensuring that farmers and agriculture have a seat at the table and will remain a focal point of U.S. trade policy.
