Highlights from the recent 2017 DC Capitol Ag Tour in Washington, DC (June 13th-16th). The purpose of the event is to talk with Congressional Representatives (House & Senate) who have a hand in policy that affects agriculture and rural America. Partners for the event include: American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), Corn Producers Association of Texas (CPAT), National Cattlemens Beef Association (NCBA), Plains Cotton Cooperative Association (PCCA), Plains Cotton Growers (PCG), Texas Cattle Feeders Association (TCFA) and the U.S. Grains Council (USGC).
